Paroxetine belongs to a group of antidepressants called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors(5HT) by the neurons of the brain. Paroxetine increases the amount of serotonin in the synaptic gap and. - Hypersensitivity to any of the medication ingredients

- Apparatus system: arthralgia, myalgia
- Visual system: vision changes
- Urogenital system: anorgasmia, galactorrhea, erectile dysfunction, ejaculation disorders.
- Digestive system: decreased appetite, nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, constipation, diarrhea, hepatitis(in very rare cases)
- Allergic reactions: skin rash, hives, itching, angioedema.
- Other: sweating, low sodium blood levels, decreased secretion of ADH
- In sudden cessation of therapy withdrawal symptoms are possible
