How does the medication work?
The preparation exerts the following effects: diuretic, hypotensive. The preparation decreases reabsorption of sodium and chloride in the kidneys, increases release of Mg2+, decreases Ca2+ ions and uric acid. The preparation suppresses the reaction of the vessel wall to vessel constricting mediators, decreases arterial pressure and overall blood volume.
