How does the medication work?
Selective inhibitor of phosphodiesterase type 5. By blocking specific phosphodiesterase 5th type (PDE5) involved in the cGMP breakage, Vardenafil enhances the local action of endogenous nitric oxide (NO) in cavernous bodies during sexual stimulation.
Vardenafil is quickly absorbed and starts to act within 15-25 minutes, duration of action is 4-5 hours.

What side effects are possible with Vardenafil ?
Frequent: headache, facial flushing, dyspepsia, nausea, dizziness, rhinitis
Rare: facial swelling, photosensitivity, low back pain, hypertension, increased levels of creatine kinase, myalgia, drowsiness, dyspnea, blurred vision, watery eyes, priapism, anaphylactic reaction (including laryngeal edema), angina pectoris, hypotension, myocardial ischemia, postural hypotension, syncopal states, increased muscle tone, nasal bleeding, glaucoma
